Nicknames


I have a certain penchant for nicknames. Aliases and epithets have naturally come to my lips for most of my friends and family members. I'm not sure why, maybe it helps my mind work--one of my creative outlets? Were these people inadequately named by their parents? Probably not, I consider my work to be additions not replacements.

In the realm of nicknames, I must pay homage to Trevor and Philip Corrigan. While I am a mere amateur in this field, they are Grandmasters. Having tuned their trade in the fertile fields of an Irish Dancing troop, I am no match for their creativity and prowess in art of nicknaming. I still laugh myself silly thinking of their creations, but I am not able to share them in order to protect those nicknamed.

Uncle Rick - Richard the Large

Cousin Adam - Adam Faddam

Jon Falcon - Jonboy Falcon

Jon Fischer - Jonboy, Jonny

Philip - Crazy Phil, Shrodei

Trevor - Trev, Travis (deprecated)

Candice - Candice Pandice Pest-o-Wandice (also deprecated and created by Trevor and Philip)
